Music Leader

Music Leader

Are you seeking to serve with your musical giftedness in a local church which longs to see people in Coogee, Australia and the world saved by Jesus, transformed by the Holy Spirit, and growing together in love and devotion to the one true living God? Then read on.
Your prayerful life, your heart for Jesus to be known and your understanding of the place of music in congregational worship and spreading the gospel can come together to be expressed  through the role of MUSIC LEADER?

St. Nics’ is seeking such a gifted person who can play piano to lead hymn singing, coach our singers, encourage the congregation to sing joyfully, and grow our music group.  It is certainly not essential but if you can play an historic pipe organ as well that would be an advantage.

The position commences in February 2020 but we would consider an earlier start for the right person who could be a part of our music team until then.

At present the ministry is 4 hours per week. However, more hours will be made available for the right person who can grow the music ministry so that it reaches the broader local community with the message of Jesus Christ. Could a ‘St. Nics’ Gospel Choir’ become a reality under your leadership?
